Star Wars: Green Squadron

Star Wars: Green Squadron is a fan made starfighter game developed from the ground up to be a love letter to classic Battlefront fans. It uses gameplay mechanics inspired by Star Wars Battlefront (2004) and it tries to stay as close to the original while adding a few extra features. Some of the features include improved physics, aiming inspired by EA Battlefront 2 (2017), and dodge rolling from Battlefront 2 (2005).

The project is being developed in Unity HDRP and all mechanics were developed in house. The starfighter models used are currently from the original games, but will be replaced over time. The current plans for the game are to continue to refine and improve the existing mechanics,  add new mechanics and game levels, and eventually add story missions. Graphics card with at least 8 GB of VRAM

Recommended Graphics Card: 

Nvidia: RTX 2080/RTX 3070/RTX 4060 or better

AMD: Radeon RX 7600 or better

Keyboard Controls:

W/S - control throttle

A/D - turn left/right

Mouse - aim

LMB - fire lasers

RMB - zoom

Q - fire missiles

E - lock onto closest target/toggle targeting

Spacebar - land/take off

Shift - boost

Alt + aim - barrel roll

Alt (without aiming) - 180 degree turn

Escape - pause

Gamepad Controls:

Left stick - control throttle

Right stick - aim

Right trigger - fire lasers

Right bumper - fire missiles

Left trigger - zoom

Y/Triangle - lock onto closest target/toggle targeting

A/X - land/take off

Click left stick - boost

Click right stick + aim - barrel roll 

Click right stick (without aiming) - 180 degree turn

Start/Select- pause

D-pad - menu navigation
